God keeps providing. Yesterday I signed an agreement that guaranteed $16,000 for my college education as long as i keep up my end of the bargain. After I finish my degree, I will be required to teach in an underprivileged school for four years. And since music isn’t an across-the-board high-need field, i have to teach somewhere where that’s a need. For example, if I were to begin teaching this year, I could teach in places in Vermont, New York, Delaware, West Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota,Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and/ or California. Or the US Virgin Islands. But I don’t even know where those are so I’m not officially including those.
Pappap wants me to go to Delaware because its safe and pretty country and its only a little farther from home than Philly. Mommy’s ok with it because it pays well, as long as I’m not going to inner-city schools.
And I’m watching Christie movies, thinking how much I’d enjoy being able to impact so many with the love of Christ through teaching. And teaching music. I’m excited to see what God has in store for me
